Science and Education at Forever Florida
Forever Florida contains 10 different ecosystems available for research and education. The pine flatwoods, hydric and xeric hammock, wet and dry prairie, freshwater marsh, floodplain, slough, scrub, and cypress dome environments are perfect for students of all ages to gain hands-on experience working and learning in natural Florida.
Florida Eco-Safaris can work with teachers of all levels to design customized tours, lesson plans, and presentations so students will get the most out of their Forever Florida experience.
Internship and volunteer programs are available to high school, college, and graduated students to gain experience in environmental research, conservation land management, grant proposal writing, and science education.
